Who gets this? While shops on all Postscript plans have access to this feature, you must have administrative access to any of the accounts you are cloning flows to and from. Learn more about Postscript Plans.
Postscript users with administrative access to multiple accounts can clone campaign and automation flows so they can use them in other accounts. Please note that in order for this process to work, you must have administrative access to any of the accounts you are cloning flows to and from.
By cloning flows across accounts, you can:
- Easily replicate successful strategies from one shop to another.
- Quickly set up brands migrating to Postscript by transferring existing flows to new accounts.
- Use cloned flows from one shop to another to conduct A/B testing for data-driven insights.
Clone an Automation Flow to Another Shop
- From the Postscript dashboard, select Messaging, then select Automations.
- Under the Automation Flows tab, locate the automation flow you'd like to clone to another shop and select the circled ellipsis to the far right. Select Clone Flow to Another Shop.
- Type the name or shop ID of the shop you want to copy the flow to in the popup window. Then select Clone.
- To switch accounts, select the current shop name on the navigation bar, then type and select the shop name you wish to navigate to.
- To access the cloned automation, select Messaging on the navigation bar, then select Automations. The cloned automation will appear under the Automation Flows tab.
Clone a Campaign Flow to Another Shop
- From the Postscript dashboard, select Messaging, then select Campaigns.
- Under the Campaign Flows tab, locate the automation flow you'd like to clone to another shop and select the circled ellipsis to the far right. Select Clone Flow to Another Shop.
- Type the name or shop ID of the shop you want to copy the flow to in the popup window. Then select Clone.
- To switch accounts, select the current shop name on the navigation bar, then type and select the shop name you wish to navigate to.
- To access the cloned automation, select Messaging on the navigation bar, then select Campaigns. The cloned automation will appear under the Campaign Flows tab.
Before You Go
Below is some key information about cloning flows across accounts:
- Cloning a flow across accounts will copy all of the messaging and flow title. Be sure to adjust the cloned flow according to the appropriate shop.
- When cloning flows that leverage integrations trigger and/or merge tags to another Postscript account, be sure that both Postscript accounts have the integration set up properly and activated.
