Landing pages are a powerful tool for growing your SMS subscriber list — whether you're using an opt-in link for a social media bio link or a QR code in product packaging.
This guide walks you through building, customizing, and publishing a landing page using Postscript's landing page builder that you can use as an opt-in link or a QR code.
Important: If your store uses a headless setup, connect with your CSM or reach out to support before publishing.
Create a Dedicated Landing Page
From your Postscript Dashboard, select Acquisition. Then, select Landing Pages.
In the upper-right corner of the page, select Create.
You will be directed to the Template Library where you can choose from any of our professionally designed templates. (Some templates may have a Recommended tag. These popups perform exceptionally well according to data we’ve collected).
At the top of the editor, you will see the landing page steps. Each step can be dragged into a new order to match the flow you’d like to use.
By default, each template automatically includes:A micro-yes step to grab the visitor’s attention and incentivize them to continue
The Onsite Opt-in phone collection and one-time password step. Onsite Opt-In is enabled on both by default.
An email collection step
A success step
At the top right of the editor, use the Mobile and Desktop toggle to preview how your page looks on both screen sizes.
In the next section, we'll guide you through how to customize your landing page.
Customize Your Landing Page
At the bottom left of the editor, you will find button icons for Settings, Theme Styles, Layers, and Add Block. Let's walk through each.
Settings
Under Form, you can define the properties of the form. Enter the Page title, set a URL slug, and copy your Short link.
The Message tab allows merchants to edit the text message that will be sent to a subscriber after opting in with a landing page.
You'll have the option to automatically apply offers.
Theme Styles
Access Theme styles by selecting the paint icon on the bottom left. Merchants can make global changes here that will be reflected throughout each step of the popup, so you only have to make these changes once. Note that Mobile and Desktop images must be replaced separately due to the differing aspect ratios required within each.
Layers
Within Layers, easily navigate through each element of your popup and utilize the drag-and-drop functionality to move elements around.
If you are collecting emails, you will want to set up Email Forwarding.
Navigate to your email collection step.
Select Layers at the bottom left of your screen.
Select Email input.
At the top of the Navigation pane, you will see Settings.
Ensure Forward to email app box is checked.
Select your connected ESP in the Email app field.
Select the email list from your selected email service provider you’d like the emails collected from this popup to be forwarded to.
Add Blocks
Add Blocks allows you to include additional elements, such as a text box, heading, image, button, email input, or container, to your design by dragging and dropping the desired element into your popup.
Once satisfied with the landing page design and functionality, navigate to the activation toggle at the top right of your screen. Select the toggle to move it to the Active position. And you're all set to begin collecting subscribers with your Postscript landing page!
Share Your Landing Page
Because consent is embedded in the landing page itself, you have maximum flexibility in how and where you distribute the link:

Paid social ads
