This year, we're deprecating three legacy features in Postscript: Legacy Popups, Legacy Campaigns (Standard), and Legacy Automations. Each one already has a newer, better-supported version live in Postscript today, and that's where you'll build and manage these going forward.
This article covers what's changing, the dates that matter, and what you need to do. In most cases, the path forward is a single click.

Legacy Popups
Freeze date: August 14, 2026
On August 14, your active legacy popups (including Back in Stock) were automatically migrated to our new, upgraded popup experience. We still recommend reviewing them in the new editor afterward, since some elements may need a quick adjustment.
Any inactive popups became read-only. You'll still be able to view them through January 4, 2027, so you have time to recreate any popups you want to keep.
What to use instead: The New Popup Editor. Migrated popups will be recreated there automatically, and it's where you'll create and manage all popups going forward.

Legacy Campaigns (Standard)
Freeze date: August 14, 2026
As of August 14, you can no longer send Legacy Campaigns. Draft campaigns were deleted, and did not carry over. Scheduled campaigns became read-only and will be sent, but they cannot be edited. Going forward, you can send Basic Campaigns or build them as campaign flows in Flow Builder.
Legacy Campaigns will remain read-only until January 4, 2027, so your past campaigns and reporting remain available for reference and export up to that point.

Legacy Automations
Deprecation date: September 30, 2026 or October 27, 2026
Legacy Automations are being deprecated on one of two dates, depending on your account. Your deprecation date depends on your account type: accounts with a dedicated Postscript account team lose access to Legacy Automations on September 30, 2026, while all other accounts have until October 27, 2026. The date that applies to you is in the email and in-app notice we sent. If you're not sure which applies, please reach out to our Support, and we'll confirm.
Your required action depends on how your legacy automations are set up.
If any of your legacy automation flows use a native Postscript trigger (such as Subscriber Created, Order Created, etc.), migration is one click. Select Migrate to Flow Builder in the upper-right corner, then choose the automations you'd like to migrate.
If any of your legacy automations use a trigger from a partner integration (Wonderment, Malomo, Okendo, Junip, Smartrr, Growave, CheckoutChamp, Repeat, or Justuno), these are ready to migrate now. This isn't a one-click migration. Each automation needs to be rebuilt manually in Flow Builder using the equivalent trigger. To find the steps for your integration, search "Integration Guide" plus the partner's name in the Postscript Help Center. We've also emailed you these instructions.
After your deprecation date, Legacy Automations will remain read-only until January 4, 2027.

You're not losing functionality. Each legacy feature has a newer, better-supported replacement with even more features and capabilities:
Legacy Popups → the New Popup Editor.
Legacy Campaigns (Standard) → Basic Campaigns or Campaign Flows.
Legacy Automations → Automation Flows.

If you have active Legacy Automations, now is the time to migrate them to Flow Builder. Your path depends on how they're set up:

No. On January 4, 2027, legacy popups, campaigns, and automations are permanently removed from the app, and read-only access ends. But your data and analytics don't go away. They remain available in the Data & Insights section of the app, so you'll still be able to reference your legacy performance after the features themselves are gone.
