Postscript integrates with LoyaltyLion, allowing you to share information between the two solutions.

Configure LoyaltyLion


  1. In LoyaltyLion, select Manage.

  2. On the left-side navigation panel, select Settings under Configuration.

  3. Scroll down to the Token and secret section. Copy both the Token and Secret keys or write them down—you'll need to enter them in Postscript later

    1. TIP! In the gif above, the user toggles between LoyaltyLion and Postscript windows. This is an efficient way to copy + paste the tokens between platforms.

  4. Head to your Postscript Dashboard and select Apps.

  5. Under Available Apps, select LoyaltyLion

    1. TIP! You can also search LoyaltyLion using the Search apps search bar in the upper-right corner of the Apps page.

  6. Enter your LoyaltyLion Token in the first field, then enter your LoyaltyLion Secret Key in the second field.

  7. Select Save Integration in the upper right corner.

  8. Activate the integration by selecting the toggle bar in the upper right corner of the page.

LoyaltyLion x Postscript Use Cases


Target Subscribers Not Yet Enrolled

Your brand may consider using Postscript automation flows to encourage subscribers to enroll in your LoyaltyLion rewards program following a created order.

Follow the instructions below to target subscribers who are not yet enrolled in LoyaltyLion.

  1. From your Postscript Dashboard, select Messaging, then choose Automations.

  2. Select Create Automation in the upper-right corner.

  3. Select Create an Automation Flow, then name your flow (e.g., "Loyalty Enrollment Invitation").

  4. Within the Automations Properties, navigate to Trigger event or property and choose Order Created from the dropdown.

  5. Add a Subscriber Filter:

    • Click the + Add filter icon below Subscriber filter.

    • Search for and select Enrolled in LoyaltyLion from the dropdown.

    • Set the logic to not equal TRUE. This ensures only those not in your program receive the message.

  6. (Optional): Drag in a Delay action if you’d like to wait a few hours after the order is placed before sending the invite.

  7. Drag a Message action into the flow. Use the "Merge Tags" icon to insert the subscriber's name or other personalized details.

    1. TIP! You can add a fallback value by clicking the merge tag after adding it to your message. For example, if you use the {First Name} tag, you can specify default text (like "friend") to display if a subscriber's name isn't on file.

  8. When ready, select Schedule or Activate in the top right.

Segment Subscribers Using Points

Address your top purchasers by sending a campaign to those who have earned a certain amount of loyalty points.

Follow the instructions below to target subscribers based on the amount of points they've earned with your brand.

  1. From your Postscript Dashboard, select Messaging, then choose Segments.

  2. Select Create Segment in the upper-right corner.

  3. Name your segment. Choose a name that will allow you to easily identify this segment in the future.

  4. Under Segment Criteria, select Enrolled in LoyaltyLion. Choose equals from the logic dropdown.

  5. Select the AND connector then choose LoyaltyLion Points Balance as your criterion

  6. Choose your logic (e.g. equals, greater than, less than, or equal to) and add a point balance to the value field.

  7. Save your segment by selecting Save Segment in the lower-right corner of the editor.

  8. Add this segment to campaign flows to target subscribers based on their LoyaltyLion point balance.
