Postscript popups continue to be a powerful (and compliant) way to collect SMS subscribers. In addition to collecting phone numbers, you can also collect and forward email and custom property data from your Postscript popup to Iterable.
Before we begin, ensure your Iterable integration is properly configured.
Forward Emails from Postscript Popups to Iterable Lists
To send custom properties to Iterable subscriber profiles, select an Iterable list for forwarding Postscript popup-collected emails and custom properties.
Select Acquisition in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard and then select Popups.
Select the popup to forward emails and custom properties from.
Under the popup name, select the + Add Step/Custom Step tab. Select + Add Step to add an additional step for subscribers to enter their email address. This second step can also be used to collect custom properties.
When collecting emails, toggle the Forward to email app option ON. When using more than one email service provider, select the dropdown under Email App and select Iterable.
Select which list you'd like to forward the collected emails and custom properties to.
Save your work by selecting Save in the upper-right corner
Forward Emails from Postscript Legacy Popups to Iterable Lists
To send custom properties to Iterable subscriber profiles from a legacy popup, select an Iterable list for forwarding Postscript popup-collected emails and custom properties.
Select Acquisition in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard. and then select Legacy Popups.
Select the popup to forward emails and custom properties from.
Under the popup name, select the + Add Step/Custom Step tab. Select + Add Step to add an additional step for subscribers to enter their email address. This second step can also be used to collect custom properties.
When collecting emails, toggle the Forward to email app option ON. When using more than one email service provider, select the dropdown under Email App and select Iterable.
Select which list you'd like to forward the collected emails and custom properties to.
Save your work by selecting Save in the upper-right corner
