Who gets this? Data Warehouse Push is currently only available in beta for Postscript brands on the Enterprise plan. To begin using Data Warehouse Push, please be sure to first contact your Customer Success Manager.
About Data Warehouse Push
Data Warehouse Push allows Postscript to automatically send both historical and new data stored in-app, including clicks, order attribution, and more, to your designated data warehouse.
If your organization is currently using a data warehouse that consolidates all of your data from various sources to make queries, visualize data using business intelligence software, and more, you may consider using Postscript's Data Warehouse Push to automatically send data from Postscript to your data warehouse to expand and utilize your available dataset.
Benefits of Using Postscript with Your Data Warehouse
Enable an efficient and scalable data pipeline. Automatically receive Postscript-gathered data directly in your data warehouse so you can save time spent consolidating or juggling multiple data locations and focus on growing your business.
Access up-to-date customer data. Receive information to your warehouse every hour and access the most updated data for your brand. Use your SMS data inside your Business Intelligence software or any other data warehouse to meet your specific business needs.
Enrich your proprietary data with added Postscript data. Analyze conversions and message performance, get up-to-date click data and other useful marketing signals in order to make more informed business decisions.
How the Connection Works
Postscript uses Prequel to securely connect to your data warehouse or cloud storage. You provide a few required fields for your destination, and we send you a secure connection link. Opening the link walks you through Prequel's own setup instructions for your destination (bucket or dataset creation, permissions, and so on) and lets you enter your credentials directly and securely. Postscript never sees your credentials.
How to Enable Data Warehouse Push
Contact your CSM. Tell your Customer Success Manager which data warehouse or storage destination you'd like to connect to Postscript.
Send us the required fields for your destination. Each destination needs a few identifying details up front. See the destination-specific article linked in the FAQs below for the exact fields.
Open your secure connection link. We'll send you a Prequel connection link. Follow its guided setup for your destination and enter your credentials directly and securely. Postscript never sees them.
Access your data. Once connected, your historical data is pushed first, followed by new data every hour. You can expect data to begin appearing in your destination within 24 hours.
