Campaign flows are the perfect way to send multi-message campaigns to a specific customer segment or your entire subscriber base. With Flow Builder, you can easily visualize and build your flow, add delays between messages, and schedule a start date for sending.

How Interactive Campaigns Benefit You

  • Interactive campaigns enhance your subscribers' experience with your brand.
  • Makes customers feel part of something special and gets them engaged.
  • Interactive campaigns are fun. It's a chance to showcase your brand's creativity and build a relationship with your subscriber base.

Choose the Segment

Every campaign sends to a subscriber segment. This ensures that campaign messages are only sent to those subscribers who you wish to receive these messages.

Reminder, you will need to create your desired segment before you can select it in the campaign Flow Builder.

  1. Select Messaging in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select Flow Builder.
  2. Select Create Flow in the top-right corner.
  3. Under Campaign, select your Engaged Subscribers or Highly Engaged segment from the drop-down.
    • Why engaged? Your engaged subscribers are those individuals who regularly click links and/or reply to messages. They're more likely to engage with an interactive campaign.
    • What if we want to send to everyoneGo for it! Choose the segment that makes sense for the interaction, your goals, and your marketing strategy.
  4. Select Create Campaign Flow in the bottom-right corner of the page.

Create an Interactive Story

Creating an interactive "choose your own adventure" story is easy with Flow Builder's drag and drop functionality. Review how to create a campaign flow, then add the copy, images/GIFs, and any delays you desire.

With an interactive story, you can keep the flow to a single message that introduces the initial story prompt. From there, you can branch the story using keywords for a subscriber's options. You'll then create keyword replies that continue the story. More on that below.

Story Keyword Replies

Here's an example interactive story. Subscribers can reply with the keyword OPEN or IGNORE to find out what happens next in the story.

Create a Quiz

Creating an interactive quiz is easy with Flow Builder's drag and drop functionality. Review how to create a campaign flow, then add the copy, images/GIFs, and any delays you desire.

With a quiz, you can keep the flow to a single message that introduces the initial question or make a series of quizzes you can space out by day, week, or month. For example, if your shop wants to do a "Sunscreen Awareness Month" campaign, you could create multiple quiz messages and delay each by a week. Use keywords for each potential answer, then create keyword replies that reveal the correct answer. More on that below.

Quiz Keyword Replies

Here's an example quiz. Subscribers can reply with the keyword FACT or FALSE to find out the correct answer and get access to any incentive reward you may choose to offer.

Note: At this time, you cannot make a TRUE keyword.

Create a Game

Creating an interactive game is easy with Flow Builder's drag and drop functionality. Review how to create a campaign flow, then add the copy, images/GIFs, and any delays you desire.

With a game, you can give multiple response options and have personalized recommendations or answers based on the reply. Use emojis or create keyword replies to provide that touch of personalization.
