Link a Klaviyo Form or Popup

Postscript integrates with Klaviyo, allowing you to share information between the two solutions. 

About Klaviyo

Klaviyo is an automated marketing campaign solution that focuses on email, social advertising, and analytics. By linking your Klaviyo account with Postscript, you can grow your SMS subscriber list through Klaviyo forms, popups, and email lists.

Once you've set up your Klaviyo integration, you can link Klaviyo forms and popups in Postscript.

Locate Your Form or Popup ID

Form and popup IDs live in Klaviyo. You'll need to know a form or popup ID in order to link it in Postscript. (58).gif 

  1. Select Signup Forms in the side menu of your Klaviyo dashboard
  2. Select the name of the form or popup you need to link. 
  3. Locate form or popup ID in the URL address. You'll need to copy or write down the ID so you can enter it in Postscript.
    • In the above example, the URL is
    • The form ID is Tncgmd. 
  4. Select the phone field and ensure that Do NOT Collect SMS Consent is chosen in the popup editor (Note: If Collect SMS Consent is chosen, Klaviyo will collect SMS consent rather than Postscript collecting consent).
  5. Copy the form ID from the editor URL and select exit the form by selecting Exit in the top-right corner of the page.

Once you have your form or popup ID, you can enter it in Postscript. (59).gif 

  1. Select Apps in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard.
  2. Locate and select your Klaviyo integration.
  3. Select Add New Form. If you are linking your first form, you'll select Add First Form.
  4. In the popup, paste your Klaviyo Form ID in the corresponding field.
  5. Review TCPA compliance and select I certify TCPA Compliance in the bottom-right corner of the popup.

We recommend you test your form or popup once you've linked it in Postscript to ensure it is collecting subscribers correctly.

Compliance Language Requirements

When collecting subscribers, the TCPA requires you to include necessary compliance language that informs visitors that they are opting into SMS messaging from your store.

Here's the TCPA-compliant language:

Note: In order to collect subscribers compliantly, your shop's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy need to be hyperlinked in the language shown above. If they cannot be hyperlinked, the full URLs of each need to be included so a viewer may search your terms or privacy policy if needed.

You should now be all set to grow your SMS subscriber list with a Klaviyo form or popup!

   Note: When collecting subscribers using a list growth integration, subscribers will be prompted with a "Reply Y to Subscribe" text to confirm their opt-in. This allows your shop to confirm they are a valid, consenting subscriber. This Reply Y interaction is automatic and cannot be disabled.
