Segments help you target subscribers and customers based on historical data to ensure you are sending the right message to the right person at the right time. You can segment subscribers based on if they are currently in a flow or have previously received a flow in order to better contextualize your campaign messages.
How to Segment Subscribers in a Flow
- From your Postscript Dashboard, select Messaging, then select Segments.
- Select Create Segment in the upper-right corner.
- Name your segment. Be sure to use a name that will allow you to easily identify this segment in future campaigns.
- Select the criteria dropdown, then choose either Currently in Automation Flow or Currently in Campaign Flow.
- Select a corresponding parameter: Includes or Excludes. Note: You are able to either include specific flows or exclude flows depending on your target audience.
- Select the flow that you'd like to include or exclude.
- Save the segment by selecting Save Segment in the bottom-right of the editor.
How to Segment Subscribers Who Have Previously Been in a Flow
