Postscript integrates with Shoptin so Shopify merchants can collect SMS marketing consent at checkout and sync new subscribers to Postscript. With the Shoptin integration, you can:

This article explains how to connect Postscript and Shoptin.
Create a Postscript API Key
Select your Shop Name in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select API.
Select Create Security Key Pair on the right side of the page, then confirm your action by selecting Yes.
Add a label to your API key so you can track where this API key is being used.
Select Show in the Private Key column to reveal your API key. Copy this key or write it down—you'll need to enter it in Shoptin later.
Create a Postscript Keyword
To properly configure Postscript in Shoptin, you'll need to generate a keyword that you'll enter into Shoptin later. In this section, we'll walk you through how to create that keyword.
In the Postscript dashboard, select Acquisition, then select Keywords.
Select Create Keyword in the top-right corner.
Enter a name that makes it clear the keyword is associated with Shoptin.
Select Save Keyword.
If desired, customize the keyword reply or select + Add Action to configure another action.
Activate the keyword when you are ready to launch the integration.
TIP: Keep the keyword inactive during setup and testing. Activate it when the integration goes live to avoid subscriber interactions before launch.
Configure Postscript in Shoptin
From your Shopify admin, open Shoptin.
Select Settings in the Shoptin navigation.
Under Merchant Settings, confirm that your Privacy Policy URL and Terms of Service URL are saved. These links help ensure the appropriate compliance language is available when consent is collected at checkout.
From Settings, select Marketing Providers.
Under SMS Marketing Providers, select Postscript, then select Connect Postscript.
Enter the private API key you created in Postscript, then select Connect.
Keep the page open while Shoptin submits and verifies your consent disclosure. Verification can take up to a minute.
After verification is approved, use the Opt-in keyword field to select the keyword you created. If the keyword is not listed, select Refresh keywords.
Select Finish connecting. If another SMS provider is currently active, confirm that you want to switch to Postscript when prompted.
Confirm that the Postscript card displays a Connected status.
IMPORTANT! Postscript is not connected until the consent disclosure is approved and you finish selecting a keyword.
