Brand Center is the centralized hub where you train Postscript AI on your brand. Everything the AI needs to know — your voice, your products, your policies, your preferences — lives here. When you invest time in Brand Center, the payoff shows up directly in the quality of every AI-powered interaction your subscribers have with your brand.
Brand Center puts you in control of how your brand is represented in every AI-generated message so each text feels unmistakably like you.
What Lives in Brand Center
Brand Center has three main areas, each serving a different purpose:
Brand Guidelines — This is where you train Postscript AI how to emulate your brand voice and tone in AI-generated messages. Your brand summary, persona, tone preferences, preferred greetings and sign-offs, and content rules all live here. These settings apply across Postscript AI products, including Shopper and Infinity Testing. When you update your settings in Brand Guidelines, every AI-powered touchpoint reflects the change.
For setup instructions, see Setting Up Your Brand Voice & Tone.
Content Library — This is Shopper's knowledge base. It's where you provide the specific information Shopper needs to answer subscriber questions: FAQs, shipping policies, return policies, product care instructions, and anything else your customers commonly ask about. You can add content via website links, uploaded documents, or text snippets. Content Library currently informs Shopper only.
For setup instructions, see Content Library Overview.
For guidance on structuring your knowledge base, see AI Best Practices for Content Library.
Product Catalog — This controls which products Shopper can see and recommend. It syncs automatically from your Shopify store, pulling in product titles, descriptions, collections, tags, and URLs. You can review what Shopper is ingesting and turn off products that shouldn't be recommended. Product Catalog currently trains Shopper only.
For setup instructions, see Managing Your Product Catalog.
Which AI Products Does Each Area Train?
This is an important distinction:
Brand Guidelines trains all Postscript AI products (Shopper and Infinity Testing). Any change you make to your voice settings will be reflected across the board.
Content Library and Product Catalog train Shopper only. The information you add to these areas powers Shopper's conversations but does not affect Infinity Testing message variants.
Why Brand Center Matters
AI is only as good as what you give it. Shopper with a sparse Brand Center will still have conversations that convert, but they may be more generic in voice and tone. Shopper with an enriched Brand Center will sound like your brand, recommend the right products, and answer questions with the kind of accuracy that builds subscriber trust.
The time you spend in Brand Center is the single highest-leverage activity for improving your AI results. It’s important to note that Brand Center is not a one-time setup. It's a living system that gets better as you add more content, refine your voice settings, and keep your product information current.
To get you started, Brand Center pre-populates some information from your website, social media, and other sources. Take the time to review this pre-populated content, making adjustments as needed. The articles linked under What Lives in Brand Center, walk you through each area step by step.
