Postscript popups continue to be a powerful (and compliant) way to collect SMS subscribers. But did you know that in addition to collecting phone numbers, you can also configure your Postscript popup to collect email? And if you have an active Klaviyo integration, you can send that email data to Klaviyo.
How Sending Subscriber Email Data to Klaviyo Benefits You
- Simultaneously build your SMS and email subscriber list with a single popup.
- Assign subscribers to a particular Klaviyo list for later use in Klaviyo email campaigns.
- Segment susbcribers in Klaviyo by which Postscript popup they opted in with.
Configure Postscript to Send Email Data to Klaviyo
- Select Acquisition in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard.
- Select Popups
- Select the popup that you'd like to forward emails from to Klaviyo.
- Along the top, select the + Add tile to add a new layer.
- Select [+] from the bottom left to Add Blocks.
- Under Data collection, select the Email input tile and drag it to the appropriate location on the popup layer.
- Customize the text and buttons on the layer, then select the Email input field.
- Select Settings in the upper left.
- Select the Forward to email app checkbox.
- Select Klaviyo from the Email app drop-down menu.
- Select one or more of the options from the Email lists drop-down menu.
- Select Save in the upper right.
- Postscript will forward the subscriber's email and indicate which Postscript popup the subscriber opted in with. This data will populate in Klaviyo as a profile property. Postscript forwards the following data points about popup opt-in source: PS-Popup-Name and PS-Popup-ID.
