Campaign flows are the perfect way to send multi-message campaigns to a specific customer segment or your entire subscriber base. With Flow Builder, you can easily visualize and build your flow, add delays between messages, and schedule a start date for sending.
How a Targeted Follow-Up Campaign Benefits You
- Reach out to a specific group of subscribers or customers with a highly personalized campaign that reads like it was meant just for them.
- Re-engage subscribers or customers who haven't engaged or made a purchase with your shot recently.
- Follow up with customers who ordered a specific item with a cross-sell, upsell, or re-order opportunity.
Choose the Segment
Every campaign sends to a subscriber segment. This ensures that campaign messages are only sent to those subscribers who you wish to receive these messages.
What are some example segments that are useful for a targeted campaign? We list a few below:
- A segment that targets customers who have purchased a specific product in the past (and might be due for a reorder). You can even get specific on the size, color, etc.
- A segment that targets subscribers who have clicked on campaign links in the past but have never made a purchase with our shop.
- A segment that targets subscribers who have never clicked on a campaign link or made a purchase with your shop.
- A segment that targets customers who haven't purchased in over 60 days.
Reminder, you will need to create your desired segment before you can select it in the campaign Flow Builder.
- Select Messaging in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select Flow Builder.
- Select Create Flow in the top-right corner.
- Under Campaign, select your desired customer segment from the drop-down.
- What segment should I choose? The segment you choose will depend on the intention of your targeted follow-up campaign. For example, in the above GIF, we select "Clicked but No Purchase" because we built our campaign, copy, and offer to target subscribers who have clicked campaign links in the past but still haven't made a purchase.
- Select Create Campaign Flow in the bottom-right corner of the page.
Create Your Campaign
Building out a targeted follow-up campaign flow is easy with Flow Builder's drag and drop functionality. Review how to create a campaign flow, then add the copy, images/GIFs, and delays you desire.
We offer examples below of how you might structure these campaigns. How many messages you include, wait times, and choice of copy will depend on your brand, products, and marketing strategy.
