Brand Center allows you to set and adjust your brand preferences in order to train Postscript AI on your unique brand voice-- all in a centralized location.
Brand Center gives marketers an opportunity to train and influence Postscript AI on their unique brand voice. Additionally, multiple checkpoints let marketers review AI-generated copy, adjust brand preferences, and provide feedback before sending messages.
To get started, marketers configure preferences in Brand Center. Postscript AI digests the inputs and produces example content. Marketers can continue tweaking preferences and brand context to further train and influence Postscript AI.
In this article, we'll walk you through how to set up your Brand Center, best practices for setting it up, and what comes after setting up your Brand Center.
Set Up Your Brand Center
The more information you add to your Brand Center, the more educated the AI model will become on your brand voice. To see optimal results, we highly encourage brands to complete all brand center fields.
- From your Postscript dashboard, select your brand name in the left-side navigation panel.
- Select Brand Center.
- Under Brand Summary, add information about your brand. This can include brand expression, values, mission, product information, and more. The AI model will consider the tone that you use in this summary when generating messages.
- You can further influence your tone within the Tone of voice card by selecting and moving each slider according to your preferences.
- Under the Persona card, you can define a brand persona. A brand persona allows you to personify the personality or image of your brand. By including a persona, the AI can better understand your brand voice.
- The Preferred content card allows you to define words, phrases, and emojis that align with your brand. You can add preferred sign-offs (e.g., "See ya!", "Bye bye", "Have a wonderful day!") and greetings (e.g., "Hiya" "Howdy, ya'll!") and inform emoji usage in your messages.
- Under Blocked content, you can add words, phrases, and emojis you don't want included in generated content. The system is designed to automatically filter out content that is likely to be deemed inappropriate by carriers, but you should always review the proposed message content.
- After all fields are complete, select Save in the upper-right corner to save your changes and begin generating messages.
- You can preview AI-generated examples based on your brand preferences under Example content.
- Continue tweaking your brand preferences and summary to further influence and adjust your brand voice.
Brand Summary Tips
Below, we provide ideas on where to find branding information you may already have in your existing marketing materials. Consider sourcing information from:
- Your website's About Us or Our Story webpage.
- Your company's mission or value propositions
- SEO results on Google
- Your social media bios
- Your brand Style Guide
The Brand Summary section is also an excellent place to set rules for the AI.
For example, you may instruct the AI to keep things up-beat with positive tone rules such as:
- Positive Language: Use language that is encouraging, friendly, and supportive. Avoid competitive or divisive tones.
- Inclusivity: Ensure messages are inclusive and make the recipient feel part of a community.
- Uplift and Empower: Focus on empowering the recipient, highlighting the benefits they will enjoy.
- Encourage Action with Benefits: Motivate the recipient to act by emphasizing the positive outcomes of their actions.
- Promote Calm Urgency: Inspire timely action by highlighting limited-time benefits in a calm, stress-free manner.
As previously mentioned, these are an example of possible rules you may give the AI. We encourage marketers to consider creating their own rules according to their own unique brand voice.
