Set Up Your Superfiliate Integration

Postscript integrates with Superfiliate, allowing you to share information between the two solutions. Superfiliate helps brands transform referral links into a personalized commerce experience-- every time. With our Superfiliate integration, you can:

  • Ensure that your SMS communication efforts align perfectly with your broader affiliate, influencer, and referral strategies, making it easy to keep your network informed and engaged
  • Notify your Superfiliates of their achievements with real-time celebratory updates, whether it’s a successful conversion, a free gift, or cash back nearing expiration.
  • Turn every SMS into a personalized conversation. Build lasting relationships that craft a community of Superfiliates who are as passionate about your brand as you are.
  • Keep your Superfiliates engaged and up to date when you use SMS to announce new incentives, rewards, and opportunities within your program, ensuring your most important customers feel valued and stay engaged.

In this article, we discuss how to configure the integration. Then, we'll guide you through how to create a Superfiliate-specific automation and define Superfiliate-specific automation triggers.

Create a Postscript API Key


  1. Select your Shop Name in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select API.
  2. Select Create Security Key Pair on the right side of the page, then confirm your action by selecting Yes.
  3. Add a label to your API key so you can track where this API key is being used.
  4. Select Show in the Private Key column to reveal your API key. Copy this key or write it down—you'll need to enter it in Superfiliate later.

Create a Postscript Keyword

To properly configure Postscript in Superfiliate, you'll need to generate a keyword that you'll enter into Superfiliate  later. In this section, we'll walk you through how to create that keyword.


  1. Select Acquisition in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select Keywords.
  2. Select Create Keyword in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Name your keyword. Aim for something that will allow you to easily identify that this keyword is associated with your Skio integration.
  4. Select Save Keyword.
  5. You can customize your keyword reply and add additional actions via + Add Action if desired.
  6. Be sure to activate your keyword before adding it in Superfiliate.

Configure Postscript in Superfiliate


  1. From the Superfiliate dashboard, navigate to the Integrations section.
  2. Find the Postscript integration, then enter the private API key you generated inside Postscript from earlier.
  3. Next, enter the keyword you've created for your Superfiliate integration.
  4. Select the Change button.

Create a Superfiliate-Specific Automation


  1. From your Postscript Dashboard, select Messages; then select Automations.
  2. Select Create Automation in the upper-right corner. Select Create Automation Flow.
  3. Select Create a new automation, then Create flow.
  4. Name your automation. Be sure to use a name that will allow you to easily identify and track this automation in the future.
  5. Select the dropdown menu under Add a subscriber when, then choose your Superfiliate trigger.
  6. Continue customizing your automation flow by dragging and dropping actions into your flow, customizing your message, and adding merge tags.
  7. When you're ready to send your flow, select Schedule or Activate in the top-right corner of the page. You have two options when sending a flow:
    • Activate immediately: This option will immediately begin the flow allowing subscribers to enter the automation based on the selected properties.
    • Activate at a scheduled time and date: Choose when you'd like the flow to begin allowing subscribers to enter.

Understanding Superfiliate-Specific Automation Triggers

Trigger Name Definition
Superfiliate Enrolled Notifies a customer who is enrolled in the program.
Superfiliate Signed Up Notifies when a customer submits a request to be a part of the program through the sign-up form.
Superfiliate Sign Up Declined Notifies when the application form of a customer is declined by the merchant.
Superfiliate Campaign Conversion Notifies the enrolled customer when a referral made a purchase.
Superfiliate Gift unlocked Notifies the enrolled customer when a gift is unlocked.
Superfiliate Before Charge Notifies the customer five days before a subscription charge will be made.
Superfiliate After Delivery Notifies the customer five days after the product was delivered.
Superfiliate Cash back given Notifies the customer when cash back is given
