Set Up Your Omnisend Integration

Omnisend is a marketing platform designed to help ecommerce businesses automate their marketing efforts and personalize their communication with customers. Postscript integrates with Omnisend allowing you to share information between the two solutions. With our Omnisend integration, you can:

  • Collect emails with Postscript popups and send them to Omnisend.
  • Collect custom properties with Postscript popups that forward to Omnisend.

In order to integrate Postscript and Omnisend, you'll need to create the appropriate API keys. In this article, we'll guide you through how to find and generate your Omnisend API keys and where to add them in Postscript.

Create Omnisend API Keys


  1. From your Omnisend admin dropdown in the top-right, select Store Settings
  2. Select API Keys from the left-side navigation panel
  3. Select Create API Key
  4. Name the integration Postscript, and make sure the Contacts checkbox is checked as this is needed for the integration to work properly
  5. Copy the API key - You won't be able to see or copy this API key later, so save it somewhere secure. You’ll need to enter it in Postscript late.

Adding Omnisend Credentials in Postscript


  1. Navigate to the Apps section of your Postscript account.
  2. Locate and select Omnisend.
  3. In the Omnisend API Key field, paste the API Key from earlier in this article.
  4. Select Save Integration in the upper-right. Upon saving, your Omnisend integration will also be activated.
  5. Your integration with Omnisend is all setup.
