Product Update: International Waking Hours – Postscript

As Postscript moves to more fully serve international brands, we are making changes to improve the experience of those shops and their customers.

We're excited to announce changes to our waking hours that will allow Postscript to send automations to subscribers in the UK and Australia based on the subscriber's time zone.

What's Changing and When

International waking hour changes go into effect November 12, 2021, and require no additional action by shops.

Automation messages will automatically send to those in Australia between 9 am and 8 pm in +10 UTC time.
Automation messages will automatically send to those in the UK between 9 am and 8 pm in UTC time.

If a subscriber triggers an automation (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, etc.) outside their waking hours, Postscript will send the automation during the next waking hour window.

Note: If a user subscribes to (or unsubscribes from) your store during quiet hours, Postscript will still send opt-in or opt-out messages as required by law. Subscribers who opt-in via a keyword will also receive the customized keyword reply.
