Postscript integrates with PageFly, allowing you to collect subscribers from pages designed on PageFly. With our PageFly integration, you can:
- Use their drag-and-drop website design feature to create branded opt-in pages
- Add opt-in forms to your existing PageFly-designed pages
- Create reusable opt-in forms that can be used on every page of your store to maximize the list growth
In this article, we discuss how to configure the integration. Then, we'll guide you through how to add opt-in forms to your PageFly-designed pages.
Create a Postscript Keyword
To properly configure Postscript in PageFly, you'll need to generate a keyword that you'll use to create an opt-in form and enter in PageFly later. In this section, we'll walk you through how to create that keyword.
- Select Acquisition in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select Keywords.
- Select Create Keyword in the top-right corner of the page.
- Name your keyword. Aim for something that will allow you to easily identify that this keyword is associated with your integration.
- Select Save Keyword.
- You can customize your keyword reply and add additional actions via + Add Action if desired.
- Be sure to activate your keyword before moving onto the next step.
Create an Opt-In Form
- Select Acquisition in the side menu of your Postscript dashboard, then select List Growth Tools. Locate Share Your Opt-In Link and select the Get Started button.
- From the Choose a Keyword drop-down, select the keyword that you created in the step above.
- Select Create Page.
- To generate the opt-in form code, select Edit page to access the landing page on Shopify. Select Show HTML icon and copy the code to use on PageFly.
Configure Postscript in PageFly
- From the PageFly editor, select Add third-party element on the left-side navigation panel. Select Manage integrations or the gear icon on top. Find the Postscript integration by searching Postscript SMS Marketing and enable it. Select Close
- Select the Postscript SMS Marketing element from the Add third-party element menu and drag and drop the SMS Signup Form variant onto the page canvas.
- On the right-side navigation panel, select the General tab and paste the form code you had copied from Postscript into the Enter Embed from code section.
- For styling options like margins, borders, and effects, select the Styling tab. You can find more details about the available options here.
Compliance Language Requirements
When collecting subscribers, the TCPA requires you to include necessary compliance language that informs visitors they are opting into SMS messaging from your store.
Here's the TCPA-approved compliance language:
*By providing your phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (e.g. cart reminders) from this shop and third parties acting on its behalf. Consent is not a condition to obtain goods or services. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel. You also agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Note: In order to collect subscribers compliantly, your shop's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy need to be hyperlinked in the language shown above. If they cannot be hyperlinked, the full URLs of each need to be included so a viewer may search your terms or privacy policy if needed.
For example, "View our Terms of Service (https:/myshop.com/terms-of-service/) and Privacy Policy (https://myshop.com/privacy-policy/).”
