Troubleshoot Klaviyo SMS Popup

In this article we'll cover how to troubleshoot your Klaviyo popup/form if it's not collecting subscribers to be pushed through Postscript.

 

The first thing you need to do is to go to your dashboard page within Klaviyo and click on the account tab at the top of your page underneath the drop down menu of your shop name.

 

Once you are on your account page, click on the Settings tab to get the drop down menu and click on SMS.

 

On this page, you will want to make sure that there is nothing in the highlight area, meaning that SMS has never been activated and will not be activated. OR you will need to delete or release the phone number that will send out text messages.

 

If you are still having issues - you will want to click on Signup Forms tab and find the form that you want to edit by clicking on the three dots and select Edit Form

 

On the form page you will want to click into the Phone Number field and make sure the DO NOT COLLECT SMS CONSENT is selected under SMS Consent.

 

This will allow Postscript send the opt-in message rather than Klaviyo - (if the Collect SMS consent is selected, this will often times block the opt-in message.)
